Overlooking the Ionian Sea

Over the centuries Taormina has charmed writers, artists and film-makers, seduced by its history, nature and agreeable climate. Villa Angela is located in an ideal position to discover the city and enjoy the infinite beauty of the area: overlooking the crystal-clear Ionian Sea and magnificent Mount Etna, with its wild and lush vegetation, the Villa is 800 m away from the historic centre where guests can visit the spectacular Greek Theatre, the grand Arab-Norman buildings and many other locations of artistic and cultural interest.

  • By plane

    From Catania ‘Fontanarossa’ Airport you can reach Villa Angela by the following means:

    – Public bus service to Taormina bus terminal (the journey lasts one hour and 15 minutes). Here you will find a taxi service that will take you to the hotel for approximately €20.

    – Private taxi directly from Catania Airport which can be arranged through the hotel. The price for this service is €120 (1-3 pax), €150 (4-6 pax).

    – Rental car, taking highway A18 in direction Messina. Exit at the Taormina tollbooth and continue on to the city centre, following signs for Parcheggio Porta Catania. At the roundabout, follow signs to Castelmola. Our hotel is located approximately 1 Kilometre away, below the Sanctuary of Madonna della Rocca.  Car parking €14/vehicle/day.

  • By train

    From Taormina/Giardini train station, you can reach our hotel by taxi for a fare of approximately €30. Alternatively, you can take the public bus to the terminal in Taormina where you will find a taxi to the hotel for approximately €20.

  • By car

    Take highway A18 in direction Messina and exit at the Taormina tollbooth. Continue to the city centre, following signs for Parcheggio Porta Catania. At the roundabout, follow signs to Castelmola. Our hotel is located approximately 1 kilometre away, below the Sanctuary of Madonna della Rocca.  Car parking €14/vehicle/day.
