One world - but nevertheless so different…
After my return flight from Taormina I choose a taxi and was surprised, that the driver speaks German. Oh, back in Germany…
Awake at sunrise next morning, the view of the terrace - frightening! Where did Mount Etna remain? There is only one lake with ducks, fish and frogs. I put my running shoes on to go jogging in the nature - however where are the mountains for climbing? Only meadows with horses, storks, geese and sheeps, a river, but no geckos or saurian. A cyclist comes along, I welcome him with „buon girono “, he looks at me very surprised. I realise, I am no longer in Taormina…!
Never I returned home so impressed and relaxed. The reason for that is because of each individual person of the Villa Angela and the fantastic environment. Therefore I want to thank you. You all made sure, that I will never forget these wunderful days at one of the most beautiful places in the world. Here I could “charge my batteries”!
And this starts with the chambermaids, the ladies of the service and the reception, especially the shuttle driver and “man for all” Mario, and last but not least Jim himself, for his unbelievable commitment and the special view to Mount Etna as well as his parents for the extraordinary discussions.
So I am really looking forward to return into this atmosphere into this different world at the end of August! Up to then I wish you alle a good time.
With cordial greetings from Hanover,
